At the hotel Gundega thinks over the events of the day. She likes Poznań very much – there are beautiful buildings, the Old Town, and many interesting things to see. Gundega has travelled a lot, but she keeps remembering Daugavpils, which she visited recently. Viktor and Ināra’s warmth and hospitality made that trip particularly special. Gundega wants to travel around the rest of Latgale this summer.
Perhaps we could start with Aglona Basilica, Gundega thinks. She has been inspired by Poznań Cathedral. She opens a map of Latgale on her smartphone and starts to research where she could go.
Maybe Viktor and Ināra would like to come along?
Gundega is delighted with her idea, and writes Viktor an email.

How are you? Having visited Daugavpils, I’d like to see the rest of Latgale too. I’d love to visit Aglona Basilica, I’d like to climb Mākoņkalns, see Lake Rāzna and spend a bit of time in Rēzekne. Would you and Ināra like to come along with me? Would one weekend next month suit you? For example the 15th or 16th August? Looking forward to hearing from you!
